Hey, it’s a pleasure to meet you!
My name is Rebecca, and my hope and prayer is you find the content here a blessing and encouragement to you in your walk with the Lord.
I am in my final year of Christian home education and working towards a career in the banking industry. While employed part-time as a Personal Banker, I am also earning a degree in Business Administration. I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for my future as I hold to His promise in the book of Jeremiah;
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ” Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
Artistic pursuits occupy a good portion of my spare time. I love reading to expand my mind and writing to organize and share my thoughts. Every piece of scrap paper, grocery list, notebook page, and notes paper within my reach eventually gets drawn on. I love sketching. I concentrate my artwork on hand-lettering and portraits, though I do enjoy branching out with different inspirations. Music is also a huge part of my life. I love playing the piano, and I spend most of my time with music playing some way or another.
Studying Theology, Apologetics, and Godly living is my passion. I routinely get carried away during my daily devotional time on a word study or cross-reference search. My favorite topic to dig into is eschatology, the doctrine of the last days. As I hold to the futurist position and believe in a Dispensational Theology, I believe the study of eschatology equips Christians for the future yet to come. It is an incredible topic to delve into.
All this being said, the most important thing I would like you to know about me is this: I have been saved by the amazing grace of God and I daily strive to live for His glory. Though none are perfect and I am certainly no exception, I do my best to live for the Lord. I hope you are also saved. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I have launched a page specifically to tell you more about salvation. Please read through the Gospel with an open mind and heart.
Thank you once again for stopping by. Come back soon!
